I was nominated by the lovely Tintins. According to the blurb, “The Mystery Blogger is an award for A-MAZING bloggers with ingenious posts.  Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging and they do it with so much love and passion.”

So yeah… obviously something went wrong for me to get it!

The questions set for me:

•If you could visit any planet in our solar system (not Earth) which would choose? Definitely Uranus. It must be wonderful, I’ve dated/married so many of its people..

•Do you have a favourite childhood dinner?  What is/was it? Chinese take away chicken curry and special fried rice! My mum was NOT a cook!!

•Sweet or savoury? Mostly savoury. I don’t really have a great sweet tooth but I do like sweet stuff once in a while.

•Do you have a favourite photograph of a memory?  Will you share it with us and give us the reasoning behind it?

George – apart from my kids, he was the absolute love of my life. That was the little flag I was given when I became a citizen, he claimed it was his and stole it at every opportunity!

•What is your favourite month of the year? Not really a month – Summer. I live for summertime

    1. It’s not as good here, much sweeter and not the same at all. A Chinese curry like you get there is a figment of imagination here and chow mein is lo mein and the noodles are weird. Chow mein here is like chop suey but without bean shoots. It’s a whole new ball game and it’s no fun!

      1. Well … according to what I’ve eaten till now, i find both equally yummy. But i agree that the Chinese cuisine is different in US. It seems that they don’t come from the same China / India

  17. Congrats!!

    Fun fact of that day, scientists just released evidence proving Uranus smells like farts! I’m not even kidding either which is amazing. Apparently the atmosphere is mostly hydrogen sulfide which smells like literal butts. It’s too perfect that they didn’t know this when the planet was named. 😂 Gotta love science!
