I’m quite thrilled to have been tagged again by A Guy Called Bloke for his own invention of a quote tag. Of all the things that do the rounds, this is probably one of my favourites. I do truly love the questions he asks on awards posts too.. they are NEVER boring!
The rules of the tag are very simple:
• Thank the Selector
• Post 2 quotes for the dedicated Topic of the Day.
• Select 3 bloggers to take part in ‘3.2.1 Quote Me!’
The topic set for me and my tagees is ‘Success’ so a huge thank you again for tagging me Rory!
This is a very particularly interesting challenge for me as to choose quotes that define success I first have to explain what I consider success to be.
Is it wealth, fame or intelligence?
Is it a big house, an exotic lifestyle and a million blog followers?
Success is a very personal viewpoint. Everyone has different criteria for their definition of success and that’s exactly as it should be because society needs different people and outlooks to be productive.
For me success is two things. It’s being happy and it’s making others happy and and in my world you can’t possibly have the first without the second. In fact, the second is what creates the first.
There is no greater success than helping someone else thrive, brightening their day, showing compassion or empathy. Those are my goalposts in life and honestly, I don’t think anything can make me feel as great as that thrill.

It’s actually the most gratifying thing ever! It’s so simple, nothing makes me feel as good as someone else’s delight.. and it’s the nicest ‘addiction’ to feed!
