She’ll Be Coming Round The Mountain Writing Poems…

Following on from last week, Esther has challenged everyone to write a poem, limerick, story etc about books. I read that while up a Volcano .. and this came about as we were coming down from Mount Teide on the tour bus! I’m now back at the hotel with honey rum and those hairpin bends are a figment of my imagination. Tomorrow I’m off to see whales and dolphins!

If asked for my favourite book

I’ll give you a dark, dirty look

I’m truly contrary

I’ll take the library

I’m badass and don’t give a Nook.

A kindles a much better deal

The books are really a steal

I hide stories I buy on it

‘im indoors can’t go apesh*t

It’s my version of ‘keeping it real’
