Why I’ll Never Use Twitter Again.

Twitter has changed their terms of service to explicitly allow for pedophile-type content to be shared on their platform. Henceforth I shall be referring to them as Shitter because frankly, that’s what they are.

The new terms of service explicitly states, “Discussions related to child sexual exploitation as a phenomenon or attraction towards minors are permitted.”

The new rule adds vague disclaimers that such pedophile content is allowed “provided they don’t promote or glorify child sexual exploitation in any way.”

Twitter has stated it will allow for nude depictions of children on their platform as long as it is “artistic.”

“Artistic depictions of nude minors in a non-sexualized context or setting may be permitted in a limited number of scenarios e.g., works by internationally renowned artists that feature minors,” states Twitter’s new terms of service.

Dr. James Cantor, ‘an advocate for pedophiles’ or as I prefer to call him, a worthless sack of shit, refers to pedos as “Minor-Attracted Persons” – MAPs

Last year he was part of a tribe of sickos, who sent a letter urging Twitter to allow pedophiles to discuss their attraction to children openly.

Cantor was one of many ‘academics’ that refer to themselves as “Virtuous Pedophiles” and asked that they be allowed to network on Twitter.

Let’s just take a minute to reflect on that. Academics – responsible for the care of children and young minds are demanding to be allowed to share their experiences and fantasies publicly. Have we as a society really sunk that low as to normalise the corruption of children?

He claims that if these so-called virtuous pedophiles aren’t allowed to network on Twitter, they will sexually abuse children.

Then they aren’t very fucking Virtuous are they? They just haven’t had the opportunity YET.

“In our professional opinions, terminating the accounts of non-offending, anti-contact Minor Attracted Persons (MAPS) is likely to result in the opposite effect of that which Twitter may expect or intend. Rather than reducing the incidence of child sexual abuse, if anything, it increases the risk that some pedophiles will be unable to obtain the peer or professional support that they may need in order to avoid offending behavior. It is also likely to increase the stigma and isolation associated with pedophilia and thereby increase the likelihood of some MAPs acting on their sexual feelings,” stated the letter.

Professional Opinions? Their professional opinion is that if they can’t share pedophilia publicly then they’re going to assault children. It’s a ‘professional’ opinion though so that’s okay.

Any time photos of children are shared by those that consider them object is of sexual gratification it is child abuse.

There. That’s my opinion and it’s ‘professional’ in that I didn’t swear.

I cannot offer any support or understanding to ‘peers’ who consider children worthy of sexual attention.

There is a stigma associated with pedophilia for a very good reason. We, as adults are supposed to protect and nurture children, not defile them.

I have deleted my twitter account. I’m done. I will not be a part of a service that not only tacitly allows but is now normalising such behaviors. As a mother and now a grandmother, I’ve always been afraid for my children’s safety. I cannot, in conscience, accept this so I’ve chosen to make my feelings loud and proud.

  6. So now “that” talk is leaving the darkweb and entering the light?

    It’s still illegal as all hell so when people start talking about it (will they?) I think the authorities will take more notice and (I don’t know) crack down on more pedophiles because now they will know who’s a pedophile when before they wouldn’t know.
    Sounds like an idea. -maybe

    1. I kinda think it’s an attempt to normalise it. There have been several high profile pedophiles for many years – known and accepted at the highest levels of society. Look at Jeffrey Epstein and all that he did and got for many many years with full knowledge of his peers. Even when he was jailed, he was able to get a day release sentence. This isn’t an attempt at exposure, it’s the beginning of acceptance

    1. It’s sadly, absolutely true. I checked several sources because I wanted it to be wrong. There’s even a load of articles about how the man mentioned above, James Cantor wants to rebrand LGBTQ with a P for Pedosexusl and to add zoophiles and necrophiles too. There is no depravity they think we should t make mainstream.

  9. I am shaking right now I am so horrified and about to cry. Are you kidding me? I certainly hope that everyone follows your lead. And those who do not while not agreeing are passively agreeing by not taking a stand. Twitter needs to be shut down. And these men need to be well I can think of various very very very painful acts to harm them as much no more than the harm they perpetrate on innocents. And there is no act more painful than that. I will be reposting this to my blog.

    1. Facebook already has a lot of dubious content. I use it as a communication tool but don’t share any personal info on it or photos of family. I used to – but no more. It’s difficult to communicate when your family are in several different countries. It’s convenient for now but for me at least, the end is on the horizon. Once my dad is no longer with us, Facebook will go.

        I’ve seen so many times the “follow the leader” enforcement. So I highly anticipate all other forms of social media to follow. It’s been in the works for a while, but this is a major crack in the advancement of pedophilia. It gives them what they want and regular subjection to it to the people makes it more desensitized and acceptable.

      2. It will never be acceptable to me. As far as I’m concerned what happens between consenting adults with free will is their own business. Anyone who can’t give consent is a victim and that includes but is not limited to handicapped, impaired (drugs and alcohol), pressured, forced, groomed, children animals and the dead. The fact that I even have to say that sex with any of those is unacceptable is horrifying. I do not believe the vast majority find this acceptable but I do believe we’ve been so pressured and coerced into not being an ‘ist’ racist, ageist etc that we’re afraid as a society to defend our principles because, God Forbid we aren’t tolerant!
        There is a big big line a mile wide and this is so far over the line that it’s past the horizon on the other side.

  15. Wow, that l never knew .. but then l find the whole concept of Twitter moronic, this just deepens my distrust on it further. I deleted my Twitter account back in 2017 and can now sleep again. But as to this as in their latest .. well it’s times like this you want to grab a size 9 heavy wooded baesball bat and start swinging it in their offices!

    1. It really does. I consider them worse than the pedophiles demanding rights because they’re allowing it. Twitter is the entity accepting this – and subjecting is to it. Twitter is now unsafe for any young person or person with kids. There are some things that can never be accepted and this is right at the top of the list

Yep, totally agree .. it’s more than frigtening, it’s horrifying and horrifically saddening that they find this acceptable … l am still finding the whole thought of it deeply disturbing and unsettling … but as you have written earlier – this is the way social media is progressing or rather regressing.

  17. This is absolutely horrendous. I stopped sharing my kids on my social media platforms except my personal Facebook. It’s blows my mind “societies” like those of pedophiles are even allowed to exist. The world hurts my heart. Thanks for sharing!

  20. I opened a Twitter account when I had my first blog. I had them connected and my posts appeared on my Twitter feed. That blog died a quick death (too busy & it was all about my stupid political rantings). I left the Twitter account dormant for years. I started this blog six years ago but, never attached it to the Twitter account. I never could figure a good reason to “Tweet”. I was already on FakeBook so…I just didn’t really “get” Twitter. I finally shut it down two years ago.

    What you have discovered…I am NOT surprised. There was a push years ago to legitimize NAMBLA. I knew then that there were some sick MFs in this world and the only thing they are good for is target practice. To physically and psychologically abuse children is bad enough but, to want them for sex? That goes so far off the reservation of normal that I can’t wrap my brain around that kind of sick. I think, at that point, you can’t even be classified as human, anymore. You are just a disgusting creature.

    I am not a violent person but, I could come very close regarding this subject.

    1. I think this is a subject that would make most people feel violent. I’ve said for years that you can’t rehabilitate a pedo and they’ve proved my point. Something I’ve found writing this post that equally disgusts me is that spell check on my iphone and Samsung tablet BOTH won’t spellcheck pedophile or paedophile. It comes up with a red line underneath but ‘no replacements found’.
      Just how deep does this go?

I remember being told at a writer’s conference that a major publisher wouldn’t be interested in my books unless I had at least 10,000 Twitter followers, but still I was too busy/too lazy/too low-tech to open an account. Now I’m thinking it’s just as well. Thanks for sharing this. I hope someone with Twitter sees it – including the comments.

  26. WOW – I’ve never used Twitter, and after reading your post am even more glad I haven’t and most definitely won’t. Have you read the book – The Things a Little Bird Told Me by Biz Stone? That book convinced me not to join Twitter too. Way to stand your ground!

  29. I am appalled, disgusted, infuriated and devastated to read this. I had no idea whatsoever. And I am grateful to God for you, spreading this awareness and letting people know what’s actually going on. I really wanted this not to be true, but … here we go again. Society just keeps going deeper and deeper into the most twisted and vile behavior imaginable.

    This is the reason hubby and I wanted nothing to do with social media. We had zero accounts between us and it was wonderful! To be honest, upon learning that I really needed to create social media accounts for the blogs I created to get the word out – I was very unhappy! It’s something I still struggle with unfortunately. This is the very reason. I didn’t want the exposure to what I find horribly indecent and offensive. It is possible to filter out what you don’t want to see (for the most part) but people choose what to post. Not I. It’s wonderful to connect with true friends you trust and enjoy trustworthy content from, but outside of that, it’s becoming more and more evil and trashy. (sigh)

    My personal belief is that what happens in this society is groups like these pedophile sickos will throw a little bit out there – pull back. Throw a little more, pull back a little. This little by little process desensitizes people to the point of a trance. After awhile, people stop questioning what it is they see and allow in their minds and hearts. Look at TV shows, magazines, movies, etc. It has become ‘the new norm’ – this culture of raunch infects more and more of our children and adults. Kids aren’t even kids anymore.

    Goodness. I am so deeply saddened by this post. I’ll be sharing what you’ve written here as I believe everyone needs to be aware of what’s going on in a very dark and troubled world. God bless you for being real ♥

  30. OMGosh Britchy, thank you for exposing this steaming heap of evil shite! For my part, I have never put my hand up to be a Twit, and this reinforces the reason why.
    I read an article the other week that highlighted the huge problem that is child and female sex slavery in the US of A. I was gobsmacked at the enormity of the problem! Obviously I see that it is fed by the ‘academics’ and ‘professionals’ that have that penchant as well as the power and authority to not only cover their butts, but help this insidious depravity to grow and flourish.
    Here was little old me thinking it was more a Third World problem where police and judiciary corruption reigns supreme! Only, the First World country you live in seems to be setting the bar on all that.

  33. That is disgusting and vile, what slimy creatures they that prey on the most innocent and young. It is becoming frightening how this is becoming more and more the normal out in the world. To sexual children never allowing them to be kids by encouraging this type of behavior will hurt the whole world in the end. Thank God we still have people in the world who can recognize this for what it is…abuse of our babies.
