Last year I wrote a Dear Ex blog post full of embedded song links.

It was a lot of work!

Because I’m as dumb as I look I thought I’d do it again to amuse you so, without further ado, I give you – well, a Social Distancing play list!

So here I am in North Carolina, alone again, naturally.

If I could turn back time would I stay in New York, New York or would I still runaway?

I guess you’ll never know!

All over the world right now the aim is to keep yourself alive so please keep your distance, you know my resistance is low!

I’m trying to keep one hand in my pocket so it’s not too easy to touch myself – it’s time I was no more the fool!

What a cruel summer, ain’t that just the way that life goes down sometimes? The streets are filled with the sound of silence.

Isn’t it ironic? You learn so much about the games people play at times like this.

Don’t be an American idiot though or else the long arm of the law will be waiting for you!

We’re all still friends… just don’t stand so close to me! Be my friend from a distance!!

No matter what though, it’s a wonderful world.

One day soon We’ll be together and will we ever celebrate!! Why, we’ll be dancing in the streets!

    I almost did something like this but mine was more an apocalyptic playlist of end of the world music hahaha nobody needs that not me … but once in awhile might drop a suitable track…. like last night the moon was looking somewhat freaky… I see the bad moon rising

    1. I love that song! There’s something about it, it’s timeless and ALWAYS a mood lifter! I had hundreds more songs I wanted to add but originally wanted to keep it to 19 songs (Covid19)
      I don’t have those levels of self control though!
